Switch between accounts, view a combined Inbox, search cached senders and subjects, and read messages. Your existing mail providers remain available independently.

Read-only by design

The current release cannot send, delete or archive provider messages, or change their labels or read flags. Gmail authorization requests only the Gmail API's read-only permission.

A recent view of the Inbox

Northmail caches up to 200 Inbox summaries per account from the 30 days before the last successful refresh. Message bodies and attachments are retrieved on demand. It is not a complete email archive.

Clear limits on data use

No advertising, analytics integration or AI processing of email. Remote message images are blocked unless the owner chooses to load them.
