Personal use

Terms of use

Northmail is a private tool for one owner to read email accounts they control. It is not offered as a public service, has no registration or subscription, and does not provide email hosting. Google and Yahoo continue to provide the underlying mailboxes under their respective terms.

The current application is read-only and does not support sending or provider-side changes. Its recent Inbox cache is incomplete and may be stale after a failed refresh. The owner should use the provider's interface where full history, account administration or an unavailable message is needed.

The owner is responsible for securing their devices, account credentials, recovery material and server; reviewing authorization requests; and maintaining backups. Northmail does not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent authorization or recoverability. External messages, links and downloads may be unsafe even when displayed through the application.

Use is subject to the accompanying privacy notice and the relevant provider terms. No ownership of email content is transferred to Northmail. These terms do not authorize access to another person's account or deployment as a service for additional users.
